Angry Red PlanetBeOS ArpCommon Project |
|
Note: This package only compiles under R5 and later.
(The binary archives include the ArpLayout test as built from the ArpCommon distribution. You do not need to download these -- they can be built by you with the main source distribution -- but they are being made available for those seeking more immediate gratification.)
This is a number of class libraries that we have created in the course of developing BeOS applications. They are released as open source, in the hope that they will be a useful resource to the rest of the BeOS community.
If you don't want to download the complete distribution, you can also browse its documentation on-line. (What there currently is of it...)
Corresponds to the ArpTelnet 2.1.2 release. The main purpose if this release is to fix issues in the source so that it can compile under R5. As a bonus (or maybe annoyance), it also includes a half-way completely re-written ArpLayout library. The half missing part is unfortunately the documentation.
Corresponds to the ArpTelnet 2.1.1 release. The major change in this release is the addition of the ArpTerminal and ArpNetwork libraries, which are used to implement ArpTelnet. In addition, the following new classes are added:
- ArpConfigureFile: generic implementation for reading and writing files containing ArpConfigurableI settings.
- ArpConfigureImpl: start of standard code for implementing configuration panels.
- ArpConfigureWatch: start of standard code for implementing configurable objects.
- ArpDebug: completely redesigned.
- ArpDocumentButton: widget for drag-and-drop interface to saving and loading files.
First modern release, corresponding to ArpTelnet 2.0. The main purpose of this was to provide an initial release of the ArpLayout library.
